Why are people always looking for answers? And furthermore, why are people always searching; searching for themselves, searching for a soulmate, the perfect job, the perfect home, the perfect sun tan? Answers come from life, they come from burning the toast in the morning, your girlfriend/boyfriend cheating on you, forgetting your passport on the way to the airport. Know that your question is the neighbor of your answer, in fact, they are one and the same. Do you really gain anything from constant public displays of confusion followed by the rudimentary proclaimations?

Believe me when i say that sharing your life on the internet is no therapy, and this will not give you the epiphany that you so clearly crave. You will get the answer to your endless questions exactly the minute you stop asking them.

<a>

It is not a matter of materialistic or non-, not a matter of expensive or for free, it is a matter of personal preferences - the way you got tought what is making you happy and what does not.
Your teacher is life, the people!
On the one hand I understand that happiness does not have anything to do with your monetary situation but on the other hand I totally disagree that money cannot make you happy. Maybe not a person like you or I can be pleased by money but there are people who have never had the chance to experience all these non-materialistic values which make our lifes the "one and only life" we would like to live.
Never judge about people who do not have the same values like you do, this makes you even worse than someone who has not had the chance to broaden her/his view.
Here I would also like to say that I started questioning what's better in life. Being open minded, well educated and having the inner force to develop yourself, experience new things - OR being a part of the traditional world, which follows the general rules and never questions the existence of reality. (Find a partner, get married, found a family, build a house,..retire and die). What's wrong with being "Normal"? I would sometimes love not to have all these thoughts, I just want to switch off this fucking brain and do what everyone else does without thinking about everything and something else. Having thoughts about things which other people would never bother about is giving me a hard time.
But otherwise, I would not have you (my friends), I would not be here and I enjoy being what I am and what I do.

Now I finish my bad writing, as usual, you know, I am more into talking.

Thank you so much for this sincere story, which this blog so much needed. At the same time it is most difficult to write abou nationality as we all share the infinite love for the place called home (and a location still lies in a country - right?). Break.

Ok - the story touched me as it is written in such an aura of truth and honesty.

Thank you once again!!!

My regards from Singapore,
Philipp

Pippo-if I recall, when we met, I had on no make up, no nail polish, was traveling SE Asia and had set off with one pair of sandals, two t-shirts a pair of zip of pants, and a bikini...arguably I am guilty of the white perfect smile...but then again so are you!
